The challenge has been created to share in the experience of Master Ayala as he goes for his Senior Master title.

The challenge is open to all AMA students, family members, and the wider community.

There are no age restrictions; however, participants should assess their own fitness levels and consult a healthcare professional if necessary before participating.

3. Tracking and Submissions

Pushups and Sit-ups: Participants will self-track their pushups and sit-ups.

Totals must be submitted weekly via the official challenge submission form on challenge99.com.

Submissions are accepted based on the honor system, aligning with the core martial arts principle of honesty and integrity.

Steps: Participants will be invited to use the StepUp app to track their steps. This app features a group function where participants can see how they are doing among others in the challenge.

Steps can be submitted online with the challenge goal of 99 miles per month. To accommodate for varying stride lengths, we have adopted a 2,000 steps = 1 mile policy.

4. Honor System

The challenge is based on the principle of honor in martial arts, and participants are expected to be truthful in reporting their results.

Misrepresentation of data will disqualify a participant from the challenge and may result in exclusion from future programs.

5. Weekly Updates

Weekly progress updates will be posted on AMA monitors and the official website challenge99.com.

Participants may opt out of having their names displayed publicly in these updates by contacting the Senior Master Challenge team.

6. Completion and Awards

The challenge is focused on personal growth, accountability, and supporting Master Ayala on his journey.

While there are no official awards, AMA Martial Arts may choose to reward participants who successfully complete the challenge. These awards or prizes will be at the discretion of AMA and may vary based on performance, participation, and dedication.

By submitting your weekly progress via the challenge99.com website you are entered for a chance to win a progress prize at each of the three month intervals. Grand Prizes will be awarded at the end of the challenge.
